I started out in recreation as a summer ball diamond groomer and somehow just kept sticking around. No college or university training, just a lot of hands-on learning and figuring things out as I went thanks to RFP. I definitely didn’t expect it to turn into a full-on career, but here we are. Over the years, I’ve picked up all kinds of random, useful (and sometimes very niche) knowledge, and I’m always happy to share it. Recreation is its own little community, and the more we swap tips and tricks, the better we all get. And if you know me, you also know I’ll usually choose hanging out with dogs over people… no offence.
