I have worked in the aquatics industry since beginning my career as a lifeguard and swim instructor in 1998. Over the past 25 years, I have gained extensive experience across Alberta and internationally, including roles in the United States and Australia. Throughout my career, I have developed strong leadership skills and a deep passion for aquatics and recreation. Volunteering on the RFP Board allows me to give back to the industry by sharing knowledge, supporting professional growth, and helping inspire the next generation of recreation and aquatic professionals. Fun Fact: While traveling to the AARFP Conference in Grande Prairie in 2026, we weren’t able to get on any standby flights. A mom and her two daughters were in the same situation, also trying to get home to Grande Prairie. To avoid missing the conference, we decided to drive—and they joined us—turning it into an unexpected but memorable road trip story.
