Changes to Hockey Canada Playing Rules

At the 2006 Hockey Canada AGM, the Board of Directors ratified changes to the positioning of the goal line and the blue lines effective for the 2006 - 2007 season. This change will include moving the goal line to 11 feet from the end boards to the nearest edge of the goal line. The blue line will also be repositioned. These changes are expected to enhance the skill of players and promote a safe environment by providing more playing space in the attacking zone. For details, please review the links provided here:
